My stepson has a lot of interests but every birthday and holiday I find myself searching for the "perfect gift." As we just finished out this holiday season, I figured I would share with you what I got him since he was pretty pleased!
GTR Racing Gaming Chair
Last year we got him a computer for him to play his video games on. He was so happy but had been using our old computer desk chair so when I found this gaming chair online, I knew it was perfect! His room is decorated in black and red (his favorite colors). The best part about this chair and it will grow with him, my 6-foot-tall husband even fits comfortably in it. The footrest adds added comfort in case he wants to lean back and watch Netflix instead of game. It also had a neck and back pillow that helps to eliminate the "gamer slouch" as a I call it. Needless to say, he will be using this chair for years!
Echo Dot
One of my stepson's favorite things is listening to music. He uses a little speaker we got him years ago, but we thought it was time for an upgrade. My dad got one a few years ago for Christmas and use it all the time. As faithful Amazon customers, we thought he would love the Echo Dot and it did not disappoint. Now he is able to ask Echo to play whatever song he wants to hear, ask her to tell him a joke or just tell him the weather outside. Such a fun and versatile gift for anyone his age or older!
Govee LED Strip Lights
One of the most popular things with kids nowadays is LED lights around their rooms. I knew my son's friends had them, but I wanted to get him a good quality brand but a budget friendly price. These Govee lights had great reviews, come with an app to change or customize the color and can even dance to the music you play. My son was SO happy to get these as a gift! I swear he changes the color based on his emotions, but my husband and I had the best time setting them up in his room, it really adds to the feel of his room. We also got these lights for my niece for her birthday, and she was just as excited.
Teenage years can be difficult to buy for. I refuse to be the mom or aunt that gets gift cards... yet anyways. I find happiness in picking out the perfect gift for my kids and others can get inspiration from the ideas I purchse!
